But in the meantime, I finally opened Apple's GarageBand tonight, software that's been wasting away on my computer for years and years. So with a brand new microphone I bought at the Apple Store, I give you Alexandra Springsteen and the E Street Band.

That's too cute! She needs to add Glory Days next to her Springsteen repertoire...
We were going to say "too cute" but its taken already (that was fast). I'll bet the record company would give her a big advance.

This nearly had me in tears. How absolutely precious. I hope you're keeping this recording, and archiving it safely. And I'm so glad to know Alexandra appreciates the lovely poetry of Thunder Road. : ) You Mendelsohns are something else.

You should have your little one do a rendition with you of "If I Should Fall Behind" for the weddings. The song was my wife and mine's wedding song. But of course Thunder Road is the TRUE CLASSIC something will last a lifetime. My favorite song of all time. Keep on rocking.
